Cara Penggunaan Kata Too, So, Either, Neither
Dua kalimat sederhana dengan prdikat sama dapat digabungkan dengan kata "Dan" untuk membentuk kalimat gabungan. Cara menggabungkannya adalah dengan menghilangkan satu diantara pedikat yang sama serta menggantikannya kedalam ungkapan (frase) yang menggunakan Too (juga), So (begitu juga), Either (juga), Neither (tidak juga).
Too dan So digunakan dalam pernyataan-pernyataan positif (Positive Statements) sedangkan Either dan Neither digunakan dalam pernyataan-pernyataan negatif (Negative Statements).
Perhatikan Pola Pernyataan Berikut:
1. Positive Statements
He Helps Roni once a month. I help Roni once a month
He Helps Roni once a month and I do, too.
He Helps Roni once a month and so do I.
He has helped Roni. I have helped Roni
He has helped Roni and I have, too
He has helped Roni and so have I.
He was helping Roni. She was helping Roni
He was helping Roni and she was, too
He was helping Roni and so was she
He had helped Roni. She had helped Roni
He had helped Roni and she had, too
He had helped Roni and so had she
He had been helping Roni. She had been helping Roni
He had been helping Roni and she had, too
He had been helping Roni and so had she
He will help Roni. She will help Roni
He will help Roni and she will, too
He will help Roni and so will she
2. Negative Statements
She doesn't help Nisfie. He doesn't help Nisfie
She doesn't help Nisfie and he doesn't, either.

She is not helping Nisfi and neither is she.

3. Positive Statements and Negative Statements
